Muzaffarpur Police solved the murder case of unknown girl in just 24 hours. Absconding paan shopkeeper arrested from Sitamarhi. He was found wrapped in a blanket under suspicious circumstances in Station Road. ASP Town Bhanu Pratap Singh gave information in this regard.
Muzaffarpur Police has solved the murder case of an unknown girl on the roadside in Station Road within 24 hours. The special police team took action in the case and arrested two people including the main accused of murder. Police have recovered the bike used in the incident. The deceased has not been identified yet.
ASP Town Bhanu Pratap Singh said that information was received about the dead body of a woman being found on the roadside. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police team reached the spot and started investigation. During this time the CCTV footage installed nearby was scrutinized. It is clearly visible in the footage that two youths riding on a bike are carrying the dead body of a woman wrapped in a blanket. Police have identified the accused and arrested both the accused. One of them has been identified as Sonu of PNT area, who runs a paan shop near the station. The second accused is his friend, who is a resident of Kiyu Kudhni police station area.
ASP told that a paan shopkeeper near the railway station had tried to commit wrongdoing by catching the woman. When the woman protested, he along with another associate killed her by crushing her with a brick. After that the accused wrapped the body in sack and blanket and threw it on the roadside.
After committing the incident, both the accused fled the city. Both the accused told during interrogation that they saw a girl wandering at the station in a suspicious condition. He coaxed her and took her to his room located near Katahi bridge in the city police station area. Tried to have a relationship with her there. The woman kept protesting. On this he hit him on the head with a brick. He died in the attack. He gave Rs 10,000 to his associate Ranjan to dispose of the dead body.
